- Biography Dr. Lois E. LeBar obtained a Master in Christian Education from Wheaton College and a Doctorate in Religious Education from New York University. For many years she was the professor and president of the Christian Education Department of Wheaton College. She passed away in 1997.
Dr. James E. Plueddemann is an experienced educator with a specialized interest in Intercultural Christian Education. He is the Director for the Society of International Ministries (SIM), and from 1988 to 1990 he was the President for the National Professor’s of Christian Education Association. Apart from presiding the Department of Educational Ministries at Wheaton College and serving as a missionary in Nigeria for thirteen years, Dr. Plueddermann has been a consultant to seminars, missionary organizations and Christian Publishing Houses.
